adSpy — Privacy Policy
Last updated:
adSpy is a Chrome extension that adds a spend/insights overlay to the Meta Ads Library.
This policy explains what the extension does with data.
What adSpy reads
- Public content of Meta Ads Library pages you visit (ad text, dates, links), to
display estimates on the page.
- Your settings (model bands, on/off toggle), stored locally in your browser.
What adSpy stores
- Locally (in your browser): settings, boards and saved ads, and a
cached sign-in state. This never leaves your device unless you sign in.
- On our servers (only if you sign in): your email address, your
boards and saved ads, your watchlist, and a count of how many ads you have
revealed — so your research syncs across devices and your plan works. Storage is
provided by Supabase.
What adSpy does NOT do
- No analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking.
- No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
- No reading of pages other than the Meta Ads Library.
- No collection of your Meta/Facebook credentials.
Third parties
- Supabase — authentication and database, only when you sign in.
- Google — optional sign-in via OAuth.
- A payment provider (once checkout launches) processes subscriptions; card details
are handled entirely by that provider.
Your choices
- Use adSpy without signing in — everything stays local.
- Sign out, or clear saved ads, from the extension at any time.
- To delete your account and synced data, email
support@adspy.app.
